Dubai continues to invest in transport and infrastructure. A new Dubai Airport Express Line is now under study by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The proposed line could connect Dubai International Airport (DXB) with Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).
One of the key areas on the proposed route is Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) — one of Dubai’s popular areas for property investment and rental apartments.
New transport connection for JVC
The proposed Airport Express Line could be around 55 km long with five stations. The early route includes DXB, Al Jaddaf, Al Khail Road, JVC and DWC.
The project is still under study. RTA said the study will take at least one year, so the final route and station locations have not yet been confirmed.

Transport can support property value
According to RTA, land values near new rail stations can increase by around 15–30%. This does not mean apartment prices in JVC will automatically grow by the same amount. However, better transport can make an area more attractive for residents, tenants and property investors.

JVC already has a large residential and rental market. New transport infrastructure could add another reason to consider the area for Dubai property investment.
